Kenneth Pobo Redux

Dawn Over the City
(Painting by Paul Delvaux)

Death accompanies me to a movie
about me—
one with no final frame. Invisible

theater patrons applaud. I too
am invisible. Slowly we enter the street.
A raindrop slides down a store window.
The night watchman takes
a handkerchief from his pocket,

erases us, walks on.

Kenneth Pobo does a radio show on an all-streaming format on Saturdays at wdnrfm.org. He gardens in his free time.
